Little Tree #1
Oil on Canvas Private Collection
A classic scene in the autumn high country.
A young evergreen collects the gold coins of the forest.
The swirling aspen leaves descend and begin to congregate on the forest floor.
This original painting of Little Tree #1 is much smaller than Little Tree #3.
It was a tonal rendering whereas Little Tree #3 was rendered in pure color.
